WOW no.1 in Australia
From down under the World of Warcraft has been the top-selling game for the first half if 2007, industry tracker GfK Australia has released latest figures confirming the former. The game’s first expansion was Australia’s best selling game in terms of units sold, between January 1, 2007 to June 30, 2007. The game comes in at the overall sales lists at number 5 with the help of its expansion the Burning crusade to spur more sales of the original game. Sony has dominated the list of top 10 with five titles which would either be available for PS2 or PS3. Sony might have the edge on the top 10 but Nintendo came over the top 20 list with eight titles under their belt which was for their console and handheld.
